Offers an intensive study of a limited number of Shakespearean plays within their social, political, intellectual and performance contexts. Plays may be chosen to correlate with Oregon Shakespeare Festival offerings and/or other specific topics. Repeat credit is allowed for different topics. Attendance at one or more live performances may be required. Prerequisite(s): Upper-division course eligibility in English or Theatre Arts, minor in Shakespeare Studies or consent of the instructor.
