Includes the development of laws that govern special education beginning with P.L. 94–142 through the current re-authorization of IDEIA. Reviews section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Includes a review of major litigation since 1954 that has shaped and continues to influence special education practices. Intended for students in the Stand-Alone endorsement program.
