Topics include describing the distribution of data graphically and numerically, standard scores, normal distribution, sampling distributions, tests of significance and confidence intervals. Examples and course exercises are drawn from data in the social sciences. Uses SPSS to display and analyze data. Approved for University Studies Explorations.
