This is the fourth semester of academic transfer American Sign Language (ASL) and a continuation of SGNL 2301. The course aims to further develop students' overall ASL proficiency and knowledge of deaf culture. Emphasized topics include translation between ASL and English and the role and responsibilities of interpreters. In addition, significant attention is devoted to the local deaf community, its organizations, support services and social events.
