Will assist students by increasing their competence in mathematics and expanding their understanding of the applications of mathematical concepts in business activities. Emphasis is placed upon learning mathematical concepts through practical application to common business problems. This course will include a review of fundamental operations such as fractions, decimals, and percents. In addition, students will examine common business problems involving discounts, interest, markup, depreciation and inventory.
