An introduction to understanding and practice of marital therapy. Students will focus on developing a set of universally accepted basic skills with special attention given to the early phases of treating dyadic problems. Additional attention will be given to recognizing common problem presentations and developing diagnostic and intervention skills based on various theoretical approaches. Also offered as PSY 5350.
