The course examines the skills needed to foster an environment that will capitalize on the talents and capabilities of the leader. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, innovation, creativity, and the free and open expression of ideas. Discussions will include: site-based management, total quality management, formulation of goals, articulating high expectations, evaluation, and working with diversity; all this from the perspective of classroom teachers.
