Introduces students to the activities necessary to properly collect, preserve, present and prepare computer-based evidence for the purpose of criminal law enforcement of civil litigation. Organizational aspects of computer forensics will be discussed with an emphasis on the preparation of policies, procedures and governance pertinent to the criminal investigation of the ethical breach of information security in the business environment.
