This course provides ECE candidates with the ability to develop lesson and unit plans and instructional activities in mathematics and science for age-appropriate students. Candidates will have the opportunity to consider the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of young children in relationship to the learning of mathematics and science concepts and skills as articulated by Ohio?s content standards, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the National Science Teachers Association. Pre-requisite: ECE 2210 and Admission to COE.
