Students consider how the social construction of gender has been influenced by the rise of technology. Students explore the social, cultural, and environmental consequences of technology. What new opportunities exist, what opportunities have been lost, if any, for how gender is understood and received by individuals and society? Prerequisite: Sophomore standing.
