CRIJ 4306 Theories and Psychology of Terrorism (3-0) This course presents the fundamental concepts, theories, and background on various forms of terrorism, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of terrorism typologies. Political, religious, and cultural terrorism will be examined, as well as their causes. Learning theory, psychodynamic theory, and other psychological constructs will be considered for their salience in helping to reach an understanding of terrorism from a psychological perspective. Prerequisite: CRIJ 1301 with a grade of ?C? or better.
