Corporate Communications covers how a corporation communicates its activities and objectives with its internal and external stakeholders. Internal corporate communication considers the delivery of corporate information to employees as well as sustaining employee pride and motivation. External corporate communications should maintain a positive public image and reputation along with a strong relationship with stakeholders. Corporate communication is also involved with brand management and corporate identity, as well as crisis communication: managing crises through effective communication with the relevant party. Specific topics may vary at the discretion of the instructor. Prerequisite: Departmental approval.
