This course is a survey of microeconomic and macroeconomic principles and their application to business situations. Microeconomic concepts include product and resource markets, consumer and producer choice, and the market structures of American industry. Macroeconomic topics emphasize measures of economic performance and comparison of alternative schools of thought including classical, Keynesian, monetarist, and new classical viewpoints.
