Applied learning in a formal professional internship with public or private entities. Internship positions must require the use of advanced skills and independent judgment while performing complex work. Candidates sitting for the CPA exam cannot count more than one three-hour internship (at either the undergraduate or graduate level) toward the thirty accounting hour requirement. Must be completed prior to the final semester of course work and subsequent to 12 hours of upper division accounting course work.
