This course focuses on the content, interpretation and uses of accounting information. This includes analysis of financial statements as well as other accounting information for planning, control, management analysis and decision making within a business. Prereq: ACCT 5301 or 6 hours of undergraduate accounting (financial and managerial), BUSI 6312. MBA students with an accounting concentration CANNOT take this course and are required to take ACCT 6310 - Advanced Accounting Problems.
