This course is designed to explore, in depth, principles of organization design and the use of structure as a tool of organizational effectiveness. The application by various corporations of different organizational models will be explored as well as the application of concepts of Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) to the creation of agile/flexible organizational models. Additionally, this course will explore organization design as a derivative function of corporate strategic planning and, alternatively, as a principle component of strategy development. Prerequisite: Graduate Program in Business Administration
