The decision-oriented approach to marketing is important to the basic study of management; therefore, students will progress through this module acquiring knowledge of this concept. This will be accomplished using the case method, emphasizing the appreciation of various factors that influence marketing decision making. This affords students the practical opportunity to apply strategic planning principles to actual cases in which outcomes are known.
