This course is the foundation course in the program. It will examine the nature of entrepreneurship and the role of entrepreneurship in society. The course investigates the entreprenuerial process in a variety of contexts. The course surveys a variety of issues surroundingf new venture creation, including the business plan, the economics of the business, determining resource needs and acquiring resources, marketing requirements, deal structure, technology issues, harvesting issues, and ethical issues, among others.
