This course is an intermediate course in photography techniques specific for newspaper and print media production. In the class, students study and practice techniques of using a standard or digital camera and the darkroom or associated software to manipulate images. The course emphasizes basic lighting, composition, flash, and layout and image quality. Students will be encouraged to submit their work to various print publications.
