A study of performance management as a system within an organization and as a leadership tool for supervisors. Performance management systems will be defined, analyzed, critiqued, and recommendations will be made for improvement to the systems. The human resource aspect of performance is the chief concern of the course. Supervisory feedback and the conducting of employee performance appraisals will be addressed. Prerequisites: Jr. or Sr. level status within PSOD major.
