This course focuses on managing employee compensation in contemporary organizations by examining current compensation decision-making pratices and the theoretical and research developments that inform those decisions. Students will be exposed to the language, concepts, and philosophies of modern compensation, and learn the mechanics of developing a basic compensation plan and structure. Prerequisites: Jr. or Sr. level status within PSOD major.
