This course is designed to provide the student with the principles and concepts necessary for a beginning understanding of pharmacology. Students are introduced to classifications of medications which are used to treat different body systems, and those types of drugs which are commonly considered over-the-counter to teach students in a laboratory setting to solve problems related to safe administration of medications. Fee. (1.5,1.5,0) Prerequisite: admission to the nursing program.
