The course presents the structure, expression, replication, and recombination of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). The interaction of proteins with DNA will be presented. The organization of genes in the genomes of viruses, bactgeria, yeast, and animals will be discussed. Current methods of recombinant DNA technology will be presented. Applicatiions of technologies of molecular biology will be discussed.
