This course is an upper division course for biology (or related) majors. This three-hour lecture course explores developmental biology at the cellular and molecular level. Readings will discuss classical concepts of development biology along with recent discoveries and ideas derived using biochemical, molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches. Emphasis will be on classical development model systems.
