Staff. Pre-requisite: SOCI 304 and SOCI 322 or approval of instructor. This course examines research in several areas of the sociology of gender. Topics include the acquisition of gender identity, face to face interactions, the changing roles of women and men, the intersection of work and family, and social movements. Students will conduct original research in one of these areas.
