Description:

Staff. Pre-requisite: High school algebra. An introductory statistics course for BSM students using MSExcel. Includes confidence intervals and hypothesis tests for one and two populations and introduction to linear regression. Extensive coverage of data collection and analysis as needed to evaluate the reported statistical results and to make good decisions in business. I comparison to Math 1110, the course spends more time on statistical inference problems, less on probability. This course does not count toward the Mathematics B.S. requirement.
