During the semester, students will study franchising from the perspective of both the franchisor and the franchisee covering all relevent issues, including franchising agreements and related documents, financing, site selection, marketing, financial management and operations. the course will examine the franchisee/franchisor relationship, contractual requirements, trademarks, territorial rights, compliance issues, legal considerations and current issues in franchising.
