This is a seminar course that will focus on recent reports of bacterial or viral diseases in the “Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report” (MMWR) published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Students will read selected reports each week that will be analyzed in detail in class. In addition, each student will write a term paper and give an oral presentation in class. Lectures only. Satisfies: Capstone requirement for majors. (Same as CELL 6240.)
