Pre-requisite: CPST-120 or equivalent experience. This course covers topics in data communications and various technologies that affect business communications. In addition to learning common networking terminology, students will examine existing and emerging networking standards and architectures. Also covered are operating systems, wiring topologies, communications protocols, LAN-to-LAN interconnectivity and WAN fundamentals.
