(Prerequisite, CH660.) The second half of a year-long biochemistry sequence that provides an in-depth look at the chemistry that occurs in living organisms. Topics covered include anabolic and catabolic pathways of metabolism, including photosynthesis, as well as the organization and utilization of genetic information. Students should be aware that CH560 is not considered to be an appropriate prerequisite for this course.
