This course is designed to introduce the student to the Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Topics will include storing, managing, and displaying spatial features and geographic data, coordinate systems, vector and raster data models, spatial data editing, and attribute data management. Upon completion students should be able to manipulate and edit GIS data. Prerequisite(s): As required by program.
