EE 993. Large Scale Control Systems Sensitivity analysis of deterministic and stochastic systems; sources of uncertainty in control systems, e.g., plant parameter variation, time delays, small nonlinearities, noise disturbances, and model reduction; quantitative study of the effects of uncertainties on system performance; low-sensitivity design strategies, state and output feedback design; sensitivity function approach, singular perturbation, and model education techniques; adaptive systems; and near-optimal control. Prerequisite: EE 893.
