PARA 4101 will help students develop the skills and knowledge they will need to effectively manage a working law office in the real world. Topics will include: The law structure, ethical issues that arise in managing a law office, types of law offices, technology and its uses in the law office, law office communications and their medium and message, conflicts of interest, the importance of calendars and docketing, law office accounting and equipment, records management, personal and professional development, and attracting and retaining clients.
