Statistical Process Control Practices Pre:MAT101 or equivalent algebra proficiency Co: Elect:OPEN Enables students to implement statistical process control (SPC) in their work environment. Explains SPC concepts and provides hands-on experience in SPC charting techniques for high as well as low volume applications. Introduces proven problem solving techniques, the W. Edwards Deming Continuous Improvement Philosophy, process capability, gauge repeatability and reproducibility as well as selecting statistical concepts. (3 hours of lecture per week)
