Global Conflicts and Human Behavior Pre: Communications and Mathematic Proficiencies Co: Elect: Open, Liberal Arts Using resources from the disciplines of literature and psychology, this course will examine the Holocaust as the prime example of ethnic and racial hatred in the 20th century. A case study approach will be used to make connections between the Holocaust and the escalating incidents of ethnic/racial/religious aggression and intolerance taking place currently in the United States and in the international arena. Attention will be given to such trouble spots as South Africa, Guatemala, and Bosnia. Fulfills open, liberal arts, social science, and humanities electives.
