Transformations of Myth Through Time Pre: Co: Elect:OPEN, LA, HUMANITIES This telecourse presents a fresh perspective on the interaction of myth, religion, and culture with special emphasis on the writings and ideas of Joseph Campbell and his insights into how myths reconcile human beings to the mysteries of life. The course consists of thirteen hour-long programs broadcast on channels 2 and 44. Instead of regular class meetings, students will complete requirements independently, guided by a faculty member of the college. Fulfills open, liberal arts, social science, and humanities electives.
