War and Peace in the Nuclear Age Pre: Co: Elect:OPEN, LA, SOC SCI A telecourse aired on Channel 2. Instead of classroom meetings, students will complete assignments on an independent basis. The 13 one-hour segments document the story of the nuclear age, focusing on Cold War relations between the U.S. and U.S.S.R. superpowers. Explored are key events such as the Cuban Missile crisis and efforts to achieve arms control. Implications for the future will be considered. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and social science electives.
