Civil Rights and Women's Rights Movements PRE: A videoconference course that focuses on Massachusett's significance historically and currently for the movements of African Americans and women for accessibility, equality, opportunity, and social change. Also considered will be the cultural, social, educational, and legal ramifications of these movements, within and for Massachusetts, and with Massachusetts as a model or motivator for the nation. Fulfills open, liberal arts, social science electives.
