A dance composition course designed to allow the student to investigate movement affinities and to discover new movement vocabularies through solo compositions. Studies examine the basic elements of dance--the body in time, space, and dynamics as well as the use of music with movement. This course emphasizes personal coaching and critique within a nurturing and experimental environment.
