This course is designed for students with no or minimal experience in ballet technique. Introduces students to the basic skills and terminology of ballet. Includes barre exercises with an emphasis on alignment. Center work will include adagio, basic turns, petite allegro, and grande allegro in simple combinations. The course is designed to develop individual body awareness, strength, flexibility, and an appreciation of the art of ballet.
