Prerequisite: PSY 101 or consent of the instructor. this course deals with chemical transmission in the nervous system and its modification by drugs and disease. Topics include the neural basis and pharmacological treatment of such neurological disorders as depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia. Fall of even-numbered years (same as NEUR 319, PSY 319).
