This course is designed to allow the student to develop those basic hand and machine skills required to be an auto mechanic. The student will develop skills in using basic metal hand tools, in the use of the engine lathe, develop basic arc and oxyacetylene welding skills, learn skills in using sheetmetal tools, learn and practice safe work habits at all times. Students will become aware of occupational opportunities in the metal auto mechancis related field.
