Basic guitar instruction. Stringing, tuning, playing techniques, notation, chords and chord progressions, reading guitar music, strum techniques, finger picking, playing simple melodies, and accompaniment. Emphasis will be on popular and folk music literature. This course is open to all students and community members. Prerequisite: must have own guitar. Electric guitar or Acoustic guitar is fine
