Students will develop and practice communication skills necessary for shop environments in which pathways of communication are vital to customer satisfaction and efficient business practice. Contact points will be determined (customer/service; service/shop; shop/part; parts/billing…), and the most effective and efficient methods of transmitting information at each point will be identified, demonstrated and evaluated. Course structure will allow for flexibility in terms of specific applications. Initial focus will target automotive technical student base at PCC. Prerequisite: appropriate ACT, ASSET, or COMPASS scores in reading and writing.
