Pre: Co: Elect: INTRODUCTION TO BIRDWATCHING: WINTER BIRDING: Designed for the beginning birdwatcher. Classroom session will discuss field trip preparations (cloths, carpooling, maps) and explore the identification of birds likely to be seen in the field, and an Audubon Society Video Guide. On the field trip you will search the newburyport-Plum Island-Salisbury area for Wintering Bald Eagels, Snowy Owls & a wide variety pf water fowl. Plum Island entrance fee is $5.00 per carload, free admission with duck stamps. Binoculars required.
