Pre: Co: Elect: Explore the magic of the mountains in winter on a snowshoe overnight hike to Carter Notch Hut. We'll trek the four miles to the Notch up Ninetten Mile Brook Trial. The hut, perched beside two mountain lakes, rests under the flanks of impresive Carter Dome. This trip is suitable for those with little experience, but good conditioning is a must. Cost includes guides, transportation from Newburyport, lodging in AMC hut, and food. Participants will need a backpack and warm sleeping bag. Snowshoes and other equipment rentals are available. Limit 12.
