The Fiction-Kitchen Connectioin This course will stir up a fresh batch of enthusiastic readers, using favorite children's literature and no-bake recipes. Children will learn to make connections between literature, hands-on cooking experiences, writing, and even math. Stories about seeds, making mud pudding complete with worms, dogs and people biscuits, friends and fruit salad, and clouds and nutritious milk shakes are only a few of the hands-on adventures we will experience. If you like to read or listen to stories, create your own snacks, make new friends and have lots of fun, this course is for you! Class limited to 12 students, ages 6-8.
