Pre: Co: Elect: THE NATURALIST WAY OF SEEING/WRITING: Who are naturalists? What can we learn from the ways they view the world? What can we learn about ourselves from the ways they write about nature? This is a course for the curious - those who want to discover new ways of looking at the world and expressing what they find. Discussion of the works of Annie Dillard, Diane Ackerman, John McPhee and other naturalists will guide us to fresh observations and writings of our own.
