Pre: Co: Elect: SELF-DISCOVERY THROUGH JOURNAL WRITING: This course will focus on the self-expressive form of journal/diary/letter writing. Through selected reading and discussion of women writers - Emily Dickinson, Virgina Woolf, Zora Neale Hurston, Anais Nin, May Sarton, Audre Lord, Flannery O'Connor, among others - we shall discover how this writing style can evoke, nurture and safeguard the creative self in each of us.
