Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) Pre: Co: This course was developed by the Appraisal Foundation with assisstance from the Education Council of Appraisal Foundation Sponsors and is being taught by an instructor certified by the Appraiser Qualifications Board. It is an initial requirement for students seeking a professional credential to enter the appraisal profession. emphasis is placed on the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). In addition to lectures, Appraisal Standards for ethical behavior, and competent performance are presented in student discussion problems to illustrate issues frequently experienced by appraisers. A one hour examination completes the course. Students should successfully pass an introductory course on appraisal principles prior to taking this professional practice course. As required by federal law, USPAP must be used by all states in the real estate appraiser certification programs. Approved for 15 hours of CEU credit.
